Why Santa Gertrudis ?
Santa Gertrudis cattle are renowned for their hardiness and suitability to Australian conditions.
They are a large beef breed suitable for grass or grain fed situations, with a high yielding carcass.
Santa Gertrudis cows have a good maternal instinct and high milk yield.

Why Droughtmasters?
Droughtmaster cattle have been specifically and selectively bred for Australian conditions using Bos taurus and Bos indicus genetics.
This beef breed is renowned for its docility and adaptability, as well as fertility, mothering ability, feed conversion and carcase yield.
Droughtmasters have good foraging abilities, as well as a resistance to parasite and disease.
